Ingredients
- 1unidade de Passion fruit (pulp and seeds)
- 1can de Sweetened condensed milk
- 1box de Heavy cream
- 1bar de Semisweet chocolate opcional
- Chocolate opcional
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, and semisweet chocolate. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly.
Dica: If you wish to use the passion fruit pulp immediately, strain it before adding to prevent the seeds from cooking with the mixture.
Continue cooking until the mixture thickens enough to pull away from the bottom of the pan when tilted (the 'brigadeiro point'). This usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
Dica: If you want a softer fillingconsistency (like a frosting), cook for slightly less time.
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the passion fruit pulp (seeds included, or strained, to preference). Mix well until fully incorporated.
Dica: For a richer chocolate flavor, use high-quality chocolate.
Pour the mixture into a greased dish and allow it to cool completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator until firm enough to roll.
Dica: To expedite cooling, place the dish in an ice bath.
Once cooled, grease your hands slightly and roll the mixture into small balls. Roll the balls in granulated sugar or cocoa powder (optional, for coating).
Dica: For serving as a soft dessert, skip rolling and serve directly from the dish with a spoon.
Adicione o creme de leite.
Cozinhe em fogo baixo, mexendo sempre até desgrudar do fundo da panela.
Coloque o brigadeiro em um recipiente.
Cubra com raspas de chocolate.
