Recipe Video
Ingredients
- 4slices de Sliced sandwich bread
- Hazelnut spread
- 100grams de Chocolate
- 50gramas de Crushed peanuts opcional
Instructions
Flatten each slice of sandwich bread using a rolling pin until very thin.
Dica: Be careful not to tear the bread while rolling.
Spread a thin, even layer of hazelnut spread over each flattened slice of bread.
Dica: Don't overfill, or the spread will squeeze out when rolled.
Tightly roll up each slice of bread from one end to the other to form a small log or pinwheel shape.
Dica: If the bread is slightly dry, lightly moisten the edges with a little water to help seal the roll.
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
Dica: If microwaving, heat in 20-second intervals, stirring well between each, to prevent burning.
Dip each bread roll completely into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
Dica: Use toothpicks inserted into the ends of the rolls to make dipping easier.
Immediately sprinkle the crushed peanuts over the chocolate coating before it sets.
Dica: Work quickly, as the chocolate will harden fast.
Place the coated rolls onto a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until the chocolate is completely firm.
Dica: This helps the bites hold their shape.
Once firm, use a sharp knife to slice the logs into bite-sized pieces if desired, or serve whole.
Dica: If slicing, allow the chocolate to warm slightly at room temperature for a few minutes so the knife cuts cleanly.
Leve à geladeira para endurecer o chocolate.
Corte os bombons em pedaços menores.
