Instructions
Season the fish cubes by mixing them with lemon juice, salt, paprika, fresh herbs, and pepper.
Dica: Drain excess liquid from the marinade before assembling the skewers.
Assemble the skewers by alternating one piece of seasoned fish, one slice of Sicilian lemon (half-moon), and one piece of tomato.
Place the prepared skewers over hot coals to grill until the fish is cooked through.
Prepare the side dish by heating oil in a skillet.
Sauté the onion, garlic, and bird's eye chili in the skillet until lightly golden.
Add the roe to the sautéed mixture and stir continuously until the mixture begins to brown.
Incorporate the cassava flour and fresh herbs into the mixture, adjusting seasoning with salt if necessary. Mix well.
Turn off the heat for the crunchy cassava flour side dish (farofa) and serve immediately alongside the grilled fish skewers.
