Recipe for an incredibly delicious layered banana cake made with a dry mix, finished with a syrup.

Ingredients
- 1,75cup de Granulated sugarSubstitui por: açúcar cristal, açúcar demerara
- 1,5cup de All-purpose flour
- 1tablespoon level de Baking powder
- 1teaspoon level de Ground cinnamon
- Banana
- 3units de Eggs
- 1/2cup de Melted butter
- 1,5cup de Milk
Instructions
In a bowl, mix 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour, 1.5 cups of sugar (reserving the rest for the syrup), 1 level tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 level teaspoon of ground cinnamon to create the dry mix.
Grease a rectangular baking dish (approximately 10.6 x 7.5 x 2.2 inches) and spread a portion of the prepared dry mix on the bottom.
Arrange the banana slices, cut in half, over the layer of dry mix.
Spread another 1.5 cups of the dry mix over the bananas, add another layer of bananas, and finally, cover with the remaining dry mix.
In a separate container, lightly whisk 3 eggs for about 30 seconds.
Add a half cup of melted butter, 1.5 cups of milk, and the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar to the egg mixture.
Dica: You can use coarse or demerara sugar instead of granulated sugar in the syrup.
Pour the liquid mixture (syrup) evenly over the entire assembled cake in the baking dish.
Pierce the cake thoroughly with a fork, repeating the process across the entire surface to ensure the syrup soaks in well.
Dica: Press the fork into the edges so the liquid reaches the sides.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350ºF for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the surface is nicely browned.
Remove from the oven and wait for the cake to cool completely before serving.
