A super easy recipe for cassava (or yuca) cream with bacon, ideal when using pre-cooked and frozen cassava, resulting in a creamy and flavorful soup.

Ingredients
- Cooked cassava (or yuca)
- Garlic
- Onion
- Dried seasonings

Instructions
Sauté the garlic and onion until golden brown.

Add the cooked cassava (if frozen, make sure it is heated) and dried seasonings of your choice to the sautéed mixture.
Dica: If the cassava is not cooked, prepare it in a pressure cooker.
Blend the mixture until a creamy consistency is achieved, using an immersion blender or a regular blender.
Dica: You can use a regular blender, but an immersion blender is suggested.
Incorporate the heavy cream into the blended mash (or cream cheese, if that is the chosen substitute).
Adjust the seasoning, adding salt and more dried seasonings according to your taste.
Finish the cream by sprinkling grated cheese, fried bacon, and chopped scallions on top.
Dica: Finishing with bacon and cheese makes the dish perfect.
