Instructions
In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and eggs, whisking gently until the eggs are fully incorporated.
Add the vanilla paste (or extract) and the remaining milk to the mixture and stir well until all ingredients are combined.
Dica: Vanilla paste is more concentrated, use sparingly.
Heat the butter in a large skillet over high heat until it starts to foam.
Dica: Don't use too little butter, but avoid an excess.
Quickly dip each slice of French bread roll (stale bread) into the liquid mixture, one side at a time, shaking off the excess.
Dica: Dipping quickly prevents the bread from becoming too soggy and falling apart.
Place the bread slices in the hot skillet and let them brown on both sides, turning carefully until they are cooked through.
Dica: The heat should be high to achieve proper browning.
In a separate dish, mix sugar and ground cinnamon for the coating.
As soon as you remove the French toast slices from the skillet, immediately roll them in the sugar and cinnamon mixture, shaking off the excess.
Dica: Coating them while hot helps the topping adhere better.
Set the finished French toast aside and serve immediately.
