Recipe for the famous Filet à JK, a famous dish from the city of Franca-SP created in honor of President Juscelino Kubitschek.

Ingredients
- 350g de Beef tenderloin (Filet Mignon)
- All-purpose flour
- Panko breadcrumbsSubstitui por: farinha de rosca
- 3 de Eggs
- 3 de Slices of ham
- 3 de Slices of mozzarella cheese
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 de Plantain (ripe)
- to taste de Salt
- to taste de Black pepper
- for frying de Oil
- 2cups de Cooked rice
- 1teaspoon de Turmeric
- to taste de Parsley
- to taste de Peas
- to taste de Olive oil
Instructions
Cut the beef tenderloin in half and open it like a butterfly.
Place the steak between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound with a meat mallet until thin.
Season the meat with salt and black pepper.
Stuff with 3 slices of ham and 3 slices of mozzarella cheese.
Fold the meat and press to seal.
Dredge the meat in all-purpose flour, then egg, and finally in panko breadcrumbs.
Peel the plantains and coat them in the same manner (flour, egg, panko).
Fry the meat and the plantains in medium-hot oil until golden brown.
Place shredded cheese over the meat and bake in the oven until gratinéed.
For the rice, sauté the turmeric in olive oil, add the cooked rice, peas, and parsley, and mix well.
