A classic from Brazilian bars (botecos) and England, the Bolovo consists of a soft-yolk boiled egg wrapped in seasoned ground meat, breaded, and fried until crispy.

Ingredients
- 4units de Eggs
- 500grams de Ground beef
- Meat seasoning
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1unit de Beaten egg
- Breadcrumbs
- Oil
- Mayonnaise opcional
- Barbecue sauce opcional
- Chopped green onion opcional
Instructions
Boil the eggs in water for approximately 6 minutes so the yolk remains soft.
Cool the boiled eggs in ice water and peel them carefully.
Season the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and other seasonings of your choice.
Divide the ground beef into portions and flatten each portion in the palm of your hand, forming a disc.
Place one boiled egg in the center of each meat disc and completely wrap it with the meat, forming a ball.
Dip each constructed ball first in the beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs, ensuring it is completely coated.
Deep-fry the Bolovos in hot oil until they are golden brown all over.
Remove the Bolovos from the pot and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Mix the mayonnaise with barbecue sauce.
Serve the Bolovos with the mayonnaise and barbecue sauce mixture and garnish with chopped green onion.
