Recipe for an irresistible banana streusel cake with a creamy topping made from dulce de leche and heavy cream.

Ingredients
- 340g de All-purpose flour
- 270g de Sugar
- 240ml de Milk
- 100g de Butter or margarine
- 3unit de Eggs
- 14g de Baking powder
- Cavendish banana (or similar ripe banana)
- 120g de All-purpose flour
- 180g de Sugar
- 50g de Margarine
- 1teaspoon de Ground cinnamon
- 100g de Dulce de leche
- 80g de Heavy cream
Instructions
In a stand mixer, beat the eggs, margarine (or butter), and the first measure of sugar until you get a light and fluffy cream.
In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour with the baking powder. Then, incorporate this mixture into the mixer.
Dica: It is not necessary to over-beat; the batter doesn't need to incorporate a lot of air.
Add the milk to the batter and gently mix with a whisk until all ingredients are incorporated and the batter is smooth and creamy.
Dica: The batter should be buttery and creamy.
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan (30x22 cm) and spread evenly.
Dica: If you don't have a non-stick spray, use plenty of margarine and flour to grease the pan.
Slice the bananas in half lengthwise and distribute them generously over the entire surface of the batter.
Dica: Be generous with the amount of banana for a more flavorful result.
Prepare the streusel topping by mixing the all-purpose flour (120g), sugar (180g), margarine (50g), and ground cinnamon (1 teaspoon) with your fingertips until you form a crumbly mixture.
Dica: If the streusel is too dry, add a little more margarine (the video used 20g more).
Sprinkle the streusel topping over the bananas in the baking pan.
In a bowl, mix the dulce de leche (100g) with the heavy cream (80g) until you get a smooth cream.
Dica: Mix well until the bits of dulce de leche dissolve.
Pour and spread the dulce de leche and heavy cream mixture over the streusel topping.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C or 200°C (depending on your oven) for approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
Dica: Baking time may vary depending on the oven.
