Recipe Video
Ingredients
- 240ml de concentrated passion fruit juice
- 2cans de sweetened condensed milk
- 1can de heavy creamSubstitui por: mais uma caixinha de creme de leite (opcional)
- 2units de passion fruit pulp opcional
- 100ml de water opcional
- passion fruit glaze (or jam)
Instructions
If you are not using concentrated juice, scoop out the pulp of two passion fruits, blend them in a blender with 100 ml of water, and strain, leaving a few seeds if desired.
Dica: A few residual seeds are not bothersome.
In the blender, add the passion fruit juice (240 ml), both cans of sweetened condensed milk, and the can of heavy cream.
Dica: It is possible to add an extra carton of heavy cream if you feel the mixture might be too sweet.
Blend all ingredients in the blender for approximately 1 minute until the mixture is smooth.
Dica: Make sure everything fits in your blender.
Transfer the mousse mixture to your preferred container (individual jar or large dish).
Refrigerate the dessert until fully set, ideally overnight.
Dica: This is necessary before applying the topping.
Prepare the passion fruit glaze (using instructions from a separate recipe), mixing the ingredients and cooking over heat until it reaches a jam-like consistency.
Dica: The glaze recipe is found in the original video description.
Once the mousse is firm, spread the passion fruit glaze over the top, wait a moment for the glaze to settle onto the mousse layer.
Dica: Waiting for the glaze to settle helps with even distribution.
Return the mousse with the topping to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to finish chilling.
Dica: This ensures the dessert is very cold for serving.
Cover the container (if applicable) and serve the dessert very cold.
Dica: This large batch can yield up to 4 to 5 individual servings if portioned out.
