Ingredients
- 6units de Potato
- 250grams de Smoked Sausage (Calabresa)
- 1medium unit de Onion
- 4slices de Mozzarella opcional
- 1tablespoon de Vegetable OilSubstitui por: azeite
- 2tablespoons de Butter
- 2tablespoons de All-Purpose Flour
- 500ml de Milk
- 2tablespoons de Cream Cheese
- 1box (200g) de Heavy Cream
Instructions
Boil the potatoes, peel them, and slice them into rounds.
Slice the smoked sausage into rounds.
Slice the onion into rounds.
In a saucepan, add the oil and sauté the onion.
Add the smoked sausage and sauté for a few minutes.
In a separate saucepan, melt the butter.
Add the all-purpose flour and mix well.
Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
Add the cream cheese and heavy cream and mix until a smooth sauce is achieved.
In a baking dish, layer some white sauce followed by a layer of sliced potatoes.
Add the sautéed onion and smoked sausage.
Cover with the remaining white sauce.
Top with the slices of mozzarella.
Bake in a preheated oven for 4 minutes or until golden brown.
