Ingredients
- 2unit de Eggs
- 1small portion de Butter
- 1pinch de Salt
- 1slice de Mozzarella cheese
- 2unit de French bread roll
- to taste de Mayonnaise (milk-based, homemade)
- to taste de Sweet grape tomato
- to taste de Arugula (Rocket)
- 1dash de Hot sauce opcional
- 1dash de Barbecue Sauce opcional
- to taste de Lettuce opcional
- 150g de Plain yogurt
- 1tablespoon de Mustard
- 1tablespoon de Honey
- 1portion de Ground beef
- 1drizzle de Olive oil
- 2cloves de Garlic
- 1piece de Bay leaf
Instructions
Prepare the ground beef: heat a skillet well with olive oil and sear two cloves of garlic. Add the ground beef, sear well over high heat to prevent it from releasing water, add a piece of bay leaf, and season with salt to taste.
Dica: Sear the meat over high heat so that it doesn't release water and retains flavor. After browning, drain any excess oil through a sieve until it is completely dry.
Prepare the sweet and sour sauce by mixing 150g of plain yogurt, one tablespoon of mustard, and one tablespoon of honey. Mix well; it is not necessary to add lemon or salt unless desired.
Dica: The combination results in a sweet and sour sauce.
In an electric skillet, melt a small portion of butter to fry the egg. Place the egg (whole or broken) and salt to taste, and let it cook to your desired doneness.
Dica: The appliance heats up quickly.
While frying, place a slice of mozzarella cheese next to the egg to melt from the residual heat of the skillet.
Dica: Remove the skillet from the heat when the egg is almost done to finish cooking with residual heat.
Prepare the French rolls, spreading homemade milk mayonnaise on one and barbecue sauce on the other.
Dica: Milk-based homemade mayonnaise is suggested for those who avoid raw eggs.
Assemble the sandwich: spread the dry ground beef over the bread with mayonnaise. Add slices of sweet grape tomato, arugula, and lettuce (if using).
Dica: Adding arugula to the sandwich provides a special touch.
Carefully separate the fried egg with the melted cheese and place it on top of the fillings, adding a little of the mustard sweet and sour sauce and, if desired, a few drops of hot sauce and barbecue sauce.
Dica: When cutting the sandwich, do not press the knife down hard so as not to disassemble the filling.
