Holiday rice recipe with bacon, peas, corn, and raisins

Ingredients
- 3tablespoons de Olive Oil
- 6cloves de Garlic
- 2cups de Uncooked White Rice
- 4cups de Hot Water
- Salt
- 1leaf de Bay Leaf opcional
- 100grams de Bacon
- 1unit de Carrot
- 1/2cup de Peas (frozen or canned)
- 1/2cup de Sweet Corn
- 1/2cup de Raisins
- 1/2cup de Sliced Almonds
- Chopped Fresh Parsley and Chives (or equivalent)
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a saucepan

refogarAdd the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant

Add the uncooked rice and stir to coat

cozinharAdd the hot water and cook until the rice is tender

refogarPrepare the sauté mix with bacon, garlic, diced carrot, peas, corn, and raisins
6
Fold the cooked rice into the sauté mix
7
Stir in the sliced almonds and fresh herbs (parsley/chives)
