Ingredients
- 1kg de Sirloin tip (or another budget-friendly cut of beef)
- Garlic
- Onion
- Pineapple
- Soy sauce
- Vinegar
- Oil
- Salt
- Annatto powder (Achiote)
Instructions
Process the garlic, onion, and pineapple in a food processor until a paste forms. Use moderate amounts of these ingredients to avoid significantly altering the texture of the meat.
Dica: The pineapple is responsible for tenderizing the meat by breaking down the muscle fibers.
Add the soy sauce, vinegar, oil, a little salt, and annatto powder to the processed paste.
Dica: The exact amounts for all seasonings for 1kg of meat will be detailed in the video description.
Pour the seasoning over the meat (1kg) and mix well to coat all the pieces.
Dica: If possible, cut the meat into skewer-sized pieces before seasoning.
Let the meat marinate for a maximum of one hour, as the pineapple can drastically alter the texture if left for too long.
Dica: Do not exceed the 1-hour marinating time.
Grill the skewers in an air fryer to test the tenderness and flavor, if a charcoal grill is unavailable.
Dica: The results in the air fryer are considered wonderful.
