Ingredients
- 2cups de tapioca starch (sweet or sour)
- 1tablespoon de salt
- 200ml de water
- 200ml de oil
- 1unit de egg
- mozzarella cheese opcional
Instructions
In a bowl, add the tapioca starch and mix well with one tablespoon of salt.
In another container, combine the water and oil and bring the mixture to a boil.
Pour the boiling mixture (water and oil) over the tapioca starch and salt to scald it.
Mix the scalded dough well.
Add one egg to the dough and fully incorporate it.
Add mozzarella cheese (optional), mixing to taste.
Dica: The cheese should be added according to the consumer's preference.
Add water gradually, mixing the dough until it reaches the ideal consistency.
Transfer the prepared dough to a piping bag.
Pipe the dough into snack shapes directly onto a baking sheet, cutting the tip of the piping bag as needed.
Bake the snacks in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for approximately 30 minutes, or until golden brown and they have doubled in size.
Dica: Keep an eye on them, as they should brown or double in size.
