Rolled Beef Steaks (Bife à Rolê) is a classic dish in Brazilian cuisine, made with thin slices of top round steak stuffed with carrots, green beans, and bacon, and simmered in a tomato sauce.

Ingredients

- Bacon
- 2tablespoons de Olive Oil
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Onion
- 2sprigs de Rosemary
- Bay Leaf
- 300g de Tomato Sauce
- 200ml de Water
- Parsley
Instructions
Pound the top round steaks between plastic wrap to thin them out, and season with salt, black pepper, and olive oil.
Stuff each steak with carrot, green bean, and bacon, roll up tightly, and secure with a toothpick.
Sear the rolls in hot olive oil and set aside.
Sauté the onion in olive oil, add the tomato sauce and water, and cook the meat covered for 10 minutes, then uncovered for another 10 minutes.
