A delicious pork leg marinated in dark beer and spices, perfect for the New Year's Eve feast.

Ingredients
- 1unit de Pork leg
- 2leaf de Bay leaf
- 1can de Dark beer
- 100g de Butter
- 2sprig de Rosemary
- 6clove de Garlic
- 1unit de Onion
- 2unit de Lime
- 60ml de Olive oil
- 1/2sprig de Green herbs (Cilantro/Parsley mix)Substitui por: salsa, cebolinha
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1/2cup de Brown sugarSubstitui por: açúcar demerara
- 1cup de White wine
- 1cup de Water
- 1unit de Onion
- 1unit de Carrot
- 2sprig de Thyme
- 1sprig de Rosemary
- 2leaf de Bay leaf
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
In a blender, combine the marinade ingredients: rosemary, garlic, onion, lime juice, olive oil, green herbs, salt, and pepper.
Place the pork leg in a roasting pan and pour the marinade over it.
Add the bay leaves.
Add the dark beer.
Marinate in the refrigerator for 10 hours.
Remove the pork leg from the marinade and set the marinade aside.
Cover the pork leg with butter.
Cover with aluminum foil and roast in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 2 hours.
In a blender, prepare the sauce: add the brown sugar, white wine, water, onion, carrot, thyme, rosemary, bay leaves, salt, and pepper.
Remove the aluminum foil and roast for another 30 minutes to brown.
Serve with the sauce.
