Ingredients
- 2,5cups de All-purpose flour
- 250ml de Milk
- 1/2cup de Oil
- 1packet de Dry active yeast
- 1unit de Egg
- 2tablespoons de Sugar
- 1pinch de Salt
Instructions
In the blender, add the milk, oil, dry active yeast, egg, sugar, and salt.
Blend these initial ingredients until well combined. Do not add the flour in the blender to avoid overloading the appliance.
Dica: The batter might get too heavy if the flour is blended in the machine.
Transfer the liquid mixture from the blender to a bowl and add the two and a half cups of all-purpose flour.
Dica: The cup used measures 200 ml (a standard 'grandma's' cup).
Mix vigorously with a spatula or spoon until the flour is incorporated and the batter is smooth, with a consistency slightly looser than traditional bread dough.
Dica: If the dough is too wet, add a little more flour; if it's too stiff, add a little more milk.
Grease a loaf pan with non-stick spray (or butter and flour) and pour the batter into it, spreading to even out the surface.
Dica: Using non-stick spray makes unmolding much easier.
Let the batter rise in a warm, enclosed place (like an oven that is turned off) until doubled in volume.
Dica: Place the pan inside the oven while it's off to promote faster and more stable rising.
Sprinkle a little all-purpose flour over the risen batter and place it in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C).
Dica: Place an empty baking sheet underneath the loaf pan to catch any liquid that might drip and burn in the oven.
Bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes, ensuring the bread is fully cooked inside.
Remove the bread from the oven and serve as desired, plain or accompanied by butter or cream cheese.
