Instructions
Prepare the dough by adding the milk, margarine, egg yolk, sugar, and active dry yeast to a bowl.
Add the all-purpose flour and knead the dough for approximately 10 minutes until it reaches the correct consistency.
Allow the dough to rest and rise, covered from air circulation, for 30 minutes.
Divide the risen dough into individual portions of approximately 60g each.
Let the shaped portions rest again for another 30 minutes to allow them to rise further.
While the dough rests, start preparing the pastry cream by mixing the sweetened condensed milk, cornstarch, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
Dica: Mix all the dry ingredients for the cream well before adding the milk.
Add the milk to the cream mixture and cook over heat, stirring until the cream thickens.
Fry the risen donuts in hot oil, handling them carefully to avoid deforming them.
Remove the donuts from the oil, let the excess drain, and fill them with the pastry cream.
Dica: Make sure they are fully filled.
