Ingredients
- cubes de Bacon
- Butter
- Onion
- All-purpose flour
- Milk
- Salt
- Black pepper
- freshly grated de Nutmeg
- Penne pasta
- Parmesan cheese
- Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Brown the bacon cubes in a skillet.
Dica: Reserve some of the browned bacon to garnish the dish.
In the same skillet, using the bacon drippings, prepare the sauce: sauté some butter and onion.
Cook the all-purpose flour briefly in the mixture, add milk, and season with salt, black pepper, and freshly grated nutmeg.
Meanwhile, boil water, add salt, and cook the penne pasta until it reaches the desired consistency (al dente).
Dica: Using high-quality durum wheat pasta, like the recommended type, makes it easier to achieve the right doneness without it becoming mushy.
Add Parmesan cheese and mozzarella to the sauce, stirring until you have a very cheesy sauce.
Drain the cooked pasta and add it directly to the cheese sauce.
Mix all ingredients well to fully incorporate the flavors.
Serve the penne, finishing with the reserved browned bacon.
