Ingredients

Instructions
Prepare the caramel by placing the sugar in a saucepan and melting it over low heat, stirring constantly.
Dica: The sugar might seem to stick together at first; keep stirring until it's completely melted and reaches an amber color.
Carefully add half a cup of water to the melted caramel, adding it gradually to avoid splattering, and stir until the caramel redissolves in the water.
Dica: Be cautious, as the boiling water will cause significant bubbling.
Let the syrup simmer for 3 to 5 minutes so it thickens slightly, then pour it into an 18 cm diameter flan mold.
Dica: Set the mold aside while preparing the batter.
In a blender, combine the four eggs, one can of sweetened condensed milk, one and a half cans of milk (using the condensed milk can as the measure), and one cup of powdered milk.
Dica: The use of powdered milk is the distinguishing feature of this recipe.
Blend all the batter ingredients in the blender until a smooth mixture is achieved.
Pour the flan batter into the mold that has already been caramelized.
Cover the flan mold tightly with aluminum foil and place it in the air fryer basket.
Dica: Aluminum foil is essential for cooking in the air fryer.
Set the air fryer to 320°F (160ºC) and bake the flan for approximately 40 minutes.
Dica: Monitor the doneness after the indicated time.
Remove the mold from the air fryer and allow the flan to cool completely before attempting to unmold it, to prevent it from breaking.
Dica: Do not attempt to unmold the flan while it is hot.
Carefully run a thin knife around the edges of the mold. If the bottom is stuck, briefly heating the base of the mold directly over a low stove flame may help release the caramel.
Dica: If necessary, use direct heat from the stove to loosen the base.
Invert the flan onto a plate, ensuring it unmolds cleanly and beautifully, and refrigerate for a minimum of four hours before serving for best results.
Dica: A minimum refrigeration time of 4 hours significantly improves the flavor and texture.
