Classic Brazilian dish of steak topped with a fried egg, seasoned with an aromatic paste made from garlic, salt, pepper, and orange juice.

Ingredients
- Steak
- Egg
- Garlic
- Whole white peppercorns
- Salt
- Orange juice
- Vegetable Oil
- Scallions (Green Onions) opcional
Instructions
If necessary, pound the steak using a meat mallet to tenderize it.
In a mortar and pestle, process the garlic, whole white peppercorns, and salt until a smooth paste is formed.
Add the orange juice to the seasoning paste and mix well.
Rub the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the steak. Then, brush a little oil over the meat.
Heat one skillet for the steak and a separate skillet (or add more oil to the same one) to fry the eggs.
Place the steak in the hot skillet and reduce the heat to medium.
When you flip the steak, place the egg in the other skillet to fry.
Cook the steak and egg to your desired doneness.
Serve the steak topped with the fried egg and finish by sprinkling with chopped scallions.
