Learn the trick to make air fryer French fries unbelievably crispy, served with an easy and flavorful steak and onions.

Ingredients
- Potato

- 1teaspoon de Seasoned grilling salt
- 2 de Onion (in rings)
Instructions
Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks. For extra crispiness, cut them thinner; for a traditional cut, cut them thicker.
Dica: Salt should not be added at this stage, as it dehydrates and softens the potato.
Season the potatoes in the bowl with paprika and add the cornstarch (about two tablespoons), mixing well with your hands until all pieces are coated.
Dica: Use a heaping tablespoon of cornstarch if you prefer them crispier.
Add a drizzle of olive oil to the already seasoned potatoes and mix again.
Dica: The olive oil should be added last before placing them in the air fryer.
Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer and cook for 15 minutes, shaking or flipping occasionally.
Dica: The sound of the dry potatoes rattling in the air fryer indicates they are nearly done.
After the initial time, sprinkle the potatoes with salt and pepper (if desired) on top.
Dica: Adding the salt only at the end guarantees crispiness.
For the steak and onions, heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet (use high heat initially) and add the garlic cut into four pieces.
Dica: The garlic should reach a high temperature to become tender inside and nicely browned outside, without burning.
Season the sirloin/top round steaks with grilling salt. Score the fat edge to prevent the meat from curling.
Dica: Do not season the meat before placing it in the hot skillet, as this can cause it to release water.
Sear the steaks over high heat for about two minutes per side to promote the Maillard reaction (caramelization).
Dica: If the meat releases water, increase the heat until the water evaporates, ensuring a good sear.
After searing and the water has evaporated, reduce the heat and place the onion cut into rings on top of the steak to finish cooking and lightly sauté.
Dica: Cut the onion into rings that retain some bite; do not let them completely disintegrate.
Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve immediately with the steak and onions.
Dica: The crispiness of the potatoes lasts longer with this method compared to deep frying.
