Ingredients

- Butter
- Sugar
- Egg
- Sweetened condensed milkSubstitui por: creme de leite
- Heavy cream
- Egg yolks
- Cornstarch
- Milk
- Strawberries
- Egg whites
- Sugar
Instructions
Prepare the crust: mix the flour, butter, sugar, and egg until a uniform dough forms.
Line a pie dish with the dough and bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
Prepare the filling: in a saucepan, mix the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, egg yolks, cornstarch, and milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add chopped strawberries to the filling.
Pour the filling over the baked crust.
Prepare the meringue: beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat until the meringue is firm.
Cover the pie with the meringue. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
Return to the oven to brown the meringue.
Serve chilled.
