A practical recipe for baked creamy rice, using cooked rice, ham, cheese, and a cream base made from eggs and dairy, finished in the oven.

Ingredients
- 4,5cups de Cooked white rice
- 150g de Diced ham
- 300g de Diced mozzarella cheese
- 1can de Canned corn (drained)
- 1cup de Shredded carrot
- 1/4cup de Chopped parsley
- 1/4cup de Chopped scallions (green onions)
- 1level teaspoon de Salt
- 1/2level teaspoon de Black pepper
- 3 de Eggs
- 1cup/tub de Cream cheese (creamy style)
- 50g de Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1box/carton de Heavy cream
- 1cup de Milk
- 150g de Mozzarella cheese (for topping)
- Shoestring potatoes (potato sticks) opcional
Instructions
In an oven-safe baking dish, combine the cooked rice, diced ham, the 300g of diced mozzarella cheese, drained corn, shredded carrot, chopped parsley, and chopped scallions.
Season the mixture in the dish with salt and pepper, mixing lightly, and set aside.
In a separate bowl, place the eggs, cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and milk.
Whisk the ingredients for the wet mixture with a fork for about one minute until a smooth mixture is obtained.
Pour the creamy mixture over the rice and other ingredients in the baking dish, spreading evenly.
Cover the surface of the dish with the remaining 150g of mozzarella cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180ºC) for approximately 35 minutes.
After removing from the oven, sprinkle the shoestring potatoes over the gratinéed rice.
Dica: Serve immediately to enjoy the creaminess.
