  • 3count de Egg yolks
  • 1,5cup de Sugar
  • 3/4cup de Oil
  • 1,5cup de Orange juice
  • 3cup de All-purpose flour
  • Salt
  • 1tablespoon de Baking powder
  • Orange zest
  • 5tablespoon de Sugar (for glaze)

Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until creamy

Add the oil, orange juice, and orange zest to the egg yolk mixture

Dica: Remember to only zest the orange peel, avoiding the white pith

Add the all-purpose flour, one cup at a time, sifting each addition

Add the salt and baking powder to the mixture

Gently fold the stiff egg whites into the mixture

Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 40 minutes
