Ingredients

  • Turkey trimmings
  • 2tablespoons de Cooking broth (from turkey)
  • 50grams de Cream cheese
  • Scallions (green onions) opcional
  • Parsley opcional
  • 1unit de Sicilian lemon zest
  • 1tablespoon de Sicilian lemon juice
  • 3centimeters de Ginger opcional
  • 1/2unit de Aromatic chili pepper (or mild hot sauce equivalent) opcional
  • 2units de Dates opcional
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Pastel wrappers (or wonton/egg roll wrappers)
  • Sunflower oil

Instructions

Prepare the turkey trimmings by removing the skin (if present) and coarsely chopping them.

Add the turkey cooking broth to the trimmings and mix.

Incorporate the cream cheese, scallions, parsley, lemon zest and juice, ginger, aromatic chili, and dates into the turkey mixture.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Place the filling onto the pastel wrappers, one by one, moistening the edges and carefully sealing them shut.
