Ingredients
- 2units de Potatoes
- Ice
- Vegetable oil
- Salt opcional
- Paprika opcional
- Coarse salt (for grilling) opcional
- 1steak de Ribeye steakSubstitui por: filé mignon, contrafilé
- Olive oilSubstitui por: óleo vegetal
- 3cloves de Garlic
- White wineSubstitui por: caldo de galinha
- Heavy cream
- Dijon mustardSubstitui por: mostarda amarela
- Yellow mustard
- Black pepper opcional
Instructions
Cut the potatoes into fry shapes (batons).
Place the cut potatoes in a bowl with ice and water.
Dry the potatoes thoroughly with paper towels.
Fry the potatoes in hot oil until golden brown.
Remove the potatoes from the pan and drain the excess oil.
Season the french fries with coarse salt, regular salt, and paprika.
In a hot skillet with olive oil, sear the steak on both sides.
Dica: Use a weight to ensure better searing on the meat.
Add the garlic cloves to the skillet.
Baste the steak with the olive oil from the skillet.
Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Mince the garlic.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté.
Add the white wine and let it reduce.
Stir in the heavy cream.
Add the mustards and black pepper.
Slice the steak.
Serve the sliced steak with the french fries and mustard sauce.
