Ingredients

  • 200g de Linguine pasta
    Substitui por: macarrão espaguete
  • 1can de Diced peeled/canned tomatoes
  • 1clove de Garlic
  • 2tablespoons de Olive oil
  • 3sprigs de Basil sprigs
  • 1/4cup de Parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Italian arugula (rocket) opcional

Instructions

Bring a pot with 2.5 liters of water to a boil over high heat.

In a skillet, combine the olive oil, garlic, and basil sprigs. Heat over low heat for about 3 minutes to infuse the oil.

Add the canned tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and let it cook for about 13 minutes, until a flavorful and rich sauce has formed.

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until 1 minute less than the package directions indicate.

Drain the pasta and reserve at least 1 cup of the pasta cooking water.
