A very easy, practical, and economical recipe for oven-baked pastries filled with cheese and calabresa sausage. The dough must be chilled before rolling out.

Ingredients
- 1/4cup de Margarine
- 1/4cup de Water
- 1pinch de Salt
- 1,5cup de All-purpose flour
- Calabresa sausage
- Cheese
- 1 de Egg yolk
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the margarine, water, and a pinch of salt, gradually adding the all-purpose flour. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
Place the dough in a plastic bag and let it rest in the refrigerator for a while to firm up.
Dica: The dough becomes firmer and easier to roll out after chilling. You can prepare it the day before.
Divide the dough and roll it out until thin. Cut circles in your desired pastry shape.
Dica: Be careful not to make the dough too thick.
Fill half of the circles with calabresa sausage (use sparingly to avoid overpowering the flavor) and a little cheese. Sweet fillings like banana are an alternative.
Dica: You can use more meat/poultry filling if desired, but the calabresa should be balanced.
Seal the pastries by pressing the edges, using a pastry crimper if you wish. Brush the surface of each pastry with the sifted egg yolk.
Dica: Sift the egg yolk to prevent the membrane from being visible on the baked pastry.
Bake the pastries in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for approximately 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Dica: The pastry is ready when it is golden brown and fragrant.
