Instructions
Prepare the seasoned butter by mixing the softened butter with the minced garlic cloves.
Dica: You can add pepper to taste at this stage.
Generously season the flank steak (approximately 1.2kg) with salt on both sides.
Dica: It may seem like too much salt, but it is necessary due to the thickness of the cut.
Spread the seasoned butter evenly over the side of the steak that does not have the fat cap.
Dica: Make sure to cover the entire surface.
Flip the steak and spread the seasoned butter over the other area without the hard fat.
Place the steak in the air fryer with the buttered side facing up, positioning it to maximize the surface exposure of the meat.
Roast the flank steak at 392°F (200°C) for 10 to 15 minutes.
Dica: Cooking time may vary depending on the power of your appliance.
After it browns, flip the steak and roast for another 10 to 15 minutes, this time with the fat side facing up.
Dica: Cooking longer on this side helps the fat render and crisp up, increasing juiciness.
Remove the meat from the appliance and slice according to your desired doneness (adjust total time for rare, medium, or well-done).
Dica: In this example, it was left for 13 minutes during the second cycle for a well-done result.
