Instructions
Prepare the dark fudge: In a saucepan, combine two cans of sweetened condensed milk, two small cartons of heavy cream, the cocoa powder, and two tablespoons of butter.
Dica: Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until you reach a creamy but soft consistency (it should not be firm enough to roll into balls).
Remove the dark fudge from the heat once it forms slow waves when drizzled from the spoon and let it cool completely.
Prepare the white fudge: In a separate saucepan, mix one can of sweetened condensed milk, one small carton of heavy cream, the milk powder (four tablespoons), and one tablespoon of butter.
Dica: Cook over medium-low heat until you achieve a creamy consistency, similar to the dark fudge.
Turn off the heat for the white fudge and let it cool completely. Once cool, fold in the chopped strawberries into the cream.
Begin assembling the layered dessert: Briefly dip the vanilla wafer cookies in milk and line the bottom of your chosen dish, creating an even layer.
Over the first layer of cookies, spread approximately one-third of the dark fudge.
Add another layer of milk-dipped cookies, followed by the white fudge with strawberries, spreading it evenly.
Create the third layer of dipped cookies. Then, distribute half of the remaining dark fudge.
Finish with a final layer of dipped cookies and cover with the remaining dark fudge; this top layer can be slightly thinner, just enough to cover the cookies.
Garnish the top of the dessert with chocolate sprinkles or chocolate shavings, according to your preference.
Refrigerate the assembled dessert for a minimum of 6 hours to ensure it sets firmly and is stable before serving.
