A flavorful and juicy turkey for your Christmas dinner, marinated and roasted to perfection.

Ingredients
- 5kg de Whole turkey
- Carrot
- Onion
- Celery
- Garlic
- Bay leaf
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley)
- Salt
- Paprika

- Small potatoes opcional
- Scallions (green onions) opcional
- Butter opcional
Instructions
Mix all the marinade ingredients in a large bowl.
Place the turkey in a large roasting pan and pour the marinade over it, making sure to cover the entire bird.
Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, or ideally 24 hours, turning the turkey occasionally.
Dica: The longer it marinates, the more flavorful the turkey will be.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Remove the turkey from the marinade and set the liquid aside.
Add small potatoes and scallions inside the turkey cavity to infuse flavor and keep the meat moist.
Tie the turkey legs together with kitchen twine to maintain a nice shape.
Cover the more delicate parts of the turkey with aluminum foil to prevent them from drying out.
Roast the turkey for approximately 40 minutes per kilogram at 350°F (180°C).
Dica: Check the internal temperature with a thermometer to ensure it is cooked through.
Remove the aluminum foil during the final minutes to allow browning.
Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
Strain the liquid remaining in the roasting pan.
Add a little butter to the strained liquid.
Mix all ingredients together and use the sauce over the sliced turkey.
