Ingredients
- Fish fillets
- Lemon
- Salt
- Pepper
- All-purpose flour
- Olive oil
- Onion
- Leek
- Garlic
- Diced tomato
- Sun-dried tomato
- Heavy cream
- Basil (leaves)
Instructions
Generously season the fish pieces with lemon juice, salt, and pepper, mixing all the seasonings well.
Dredge the seasoned fish in all-purpose flour to coat it.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and lightly brown the fish on all sides, then remove it.
In the same skillet, sauté the onion, leek, and garlic until lightly golden.
Add the diced tomato and sun-dried tomato to the sautéed vegetables, mix well, and cook until the tomatoes soften.
Incorporate the heavy cream into the sauce and wait until it starts to simmer and bubble.
Return the browned fish to the skillet, along with the basil leaves.
Instead of stirring with utensils, gently swirl the skillet so that the sauce completely coats the fish.
Dica: Gently swirling the skillet helps prevent the fish from breaking apart.
Serve the dish immediately after finishing cooking.
