An incredibly easy and delicious passion fruit farofa recipe, with a tropical flair.

Ingredients
- 1/2cup de Diced bacon
- 1/4cup de Unsalted butter
- 1/4cup de Diced onion
- 1teaspoon de Minced garlic
- 1/4cup de Passion fruit pulp
- 2,5cups de Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2teaspoon de Salt
- 1generous pinch de Black pepper
- 1/2tablespoon de Chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2tablespoon de Chopped green onions (scallions)
Instructions
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the diced bacon and unsalted butter.
Fry the bacon until golden brown, but not completely crispy.
Add the diced onion and sauté along with the bacon and butter.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for another moment.
Incorporate the passion fruit pulp and cook until it slightly reduces.
Dica: Using the whole pulp is the secret to the recipe.
Stir in the panko breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, parsley, and green onions.
Reduce the heat to low and vigorously mix all ingredients until the farofa achieves a uniform yellowish color.
Transfer the finished farofa to a serving dish.
