Easy and delicious passion fruit farofa recipe, ideal for accompanying festive meals like Christmas.

Ingredients
- 1/2cup de Diced bacon
- 1/4cup de Unsalted butterSubstitui por: margarina
- 1/4cup de Diced onion
- 1level teaspoon de Minced garlic
- 1/4cup de Passion fruit pulp
- 2,5cups de Panko breadcrumbsSubstitui por: farinha de mandioca fina
- 1/2level teaspoon de Salt
- 1generous pinch de Black pepper
- 1/2level tablespoon de Chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2level tablespoon de Chopped green onions (scallions)
Instructions
Heat the skillet and fry the diced bacon with the unsalted butter until the bacon is golden brown, but not burnt.
Dica: The bacon should be nicely browned, not overly crisp.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the sauté and continue frying.
Stir in the passion fruit pulp and let it cook briefly so it reduces slightly.
Dica: Using the pulp is the secret to a great flavor in this recipe.
Incorporate the panko breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and chopped green onions into the sauté.
Reduce the heat and stir continuously until all ingredients are well combined and the farofa has a uniform yellowish color.
Dica: Stir until the color is consistent.
Transfer the finished farofa to a serving dish.
