Ingredients
- 6units de Hard-boiled eggs
- 180g de HamSubstitui por: frango desfiado, carne, sardinha, atum, linguiça picadinha, salsicha, cenoura, brócolis
- 1/2cup de Black olivesSubstitui por: azeitonas verdes
- 1/2cup de Onion
- 1cup de Tomato
- 300g de Mozzarella cheeseSubstitui por: outro tipo de queijo
- 1/2level tablespoon de Salt
- 2level tablespoons de Parsley
- 1/2level tablespoon de Oregano
- 2tablespoons de Olive oil
- 6units de Eggs
- 1cup de OilSubstitui por: manteiga, margarina
- 1/2level tablespoon de Salt
- 3cups de All-purpose flour
- 2cups de Water or milkSubstitui por: água, leite
- 2level tablespoons de Baking powder
- 50g de Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1container de Creamy cheese spread
- 1level tablespoon de Oregano
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the chopped hard-boiled eggs, chopped ham, chopped black olives, minced onion, chopped tomato, sliced and chopped mozzarella cheese, salt (half a level tablespoon), chopped parsley, oregano (half a level tablespoon), and olive oil.
Dica: You can substitute the ham with shredded chicken, ground beef, sardines, tuna, sausage, hot dogs, carrots, or broccoli. The mozzarella cheese can also be swapped for another type of cheese.
Prepare the batter by first beating the six eggs in a stand mixer or blender for one minute.
Add the cup of oil (or room temperature butter/margarine) to the mixture and beat for another minute.
Dica: The oil can be substituted with butter or margarine in the same proportion and at room temperature.
Add half a level tablespoon of salt, the three cups of all-purpose flour, the two cups of water or milk, the 50 g of grated Parmesan cheese, and the two level tablespoons of baking powder to the batter.
Run the mixer/blender for another minute until the batter is smooth.
Dica: The batter should smell very fragrant.
Grease a baking dish (13.4 x 9.4 x 2 inches deep) with butter and all-purpose flour. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish.
Spread the entire prepared filling over the first layer of batter, making sure to cover the sides well.
Dica: Generous filling guarantees a tastier pie.
Distribute one container of creamy cheese spread over the entire filling.
Cover the creamy cheese spread with the remaining batter. Finish by sprinkling 50 g of grated Parmesan cheese and one level tablespoon of oregano on top.
Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 338ºF (for electric ovens, with top and bottom heating elements on) or 356ºF (for conventional ovens) for approximately 55 minutes.
Dica: The baking time is about 55 minutes.
