Traditional Brazilian recipe for carrot cake with chocolate glaze

Ingredients
- 3medium de Carrots
- 4units de Eggs
- 360grams de Granulated sugar
- 315grams de Sunflower oil
- 390grams de All-purpose flour
- 18grams de Baking powder
- 3grams de Refined salt
- 12grams de Butter
- 100grams de Cocoa powder
- 240grams de Powdered sugar
- 120milliliters de Water
- 150grams de Cream cheese
- 80grams de Heavy cream
- Orange zest
- Tangerine zest
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
In a bowl, mix the eggs, granulated sugar, sunflower oil, and all-purpose flour.
Add the baking powder and refined salt to the mixture.
Pour the batter into a baking pan greased with butter and dusted with all-purpose flour.
Bake the cake for 40 minutes, or until it is firm and golden brown.
Prepare the chocolate glaze by mixing the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, water, and butter in a saucepan.
Cook the glaze over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly.
Prepare the cream cheese frosting by mixing the cream cheese, heavy cream, orange zest, and tangerine zest in a bowl.
Spread the cream cheese frosting over the baked cake.
