Ingredients
- 1piece de Beef brisket
- Onion
- Garlic
- Thyme
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Beer (Unfiltered, if possible)
Instructions
Trim the excess fat from the beef brisket.
Season the meat and begin the searing (braising) process on the grill.
Slice the onions, mince the garlic cloves, and separate some thyme and crushed red pepper flakes.
After searing for 10 minutes on each side, add the crushed red pepper flakes and sliced onion over the meat.
Add more garlic and thyme over the meat.
Cut the trimmed fat into pieces and distribute them over the cut of meat to add flavor during cooking.
Pour the beer over the brisket on the grill to aid in tenderness and flavor.
Dica: Unfiltered beer can add a lot of flavor.
Let the meat cook slowly on the grill for approximately 4 hours, or until it is extremely tender and falling apart.
Dica: The meat should be tender, shredding easily when touched, but still firm on the rack.
