A simple and delicious dessert taught by a traditional Minas Gerais cook, consisting of a creamy base topped with a warm guava paste sauce.

Ingredients
- 200g de heavy cream
- 1/2unit de lime juice
- 200g de guava paste
- 50ml de water
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the heavy cream and squeeze in the juice from half a lime.
Mix the heavy cream and lime base well and set the mixture aside.
Cut half of the guava paste (about 200g from a standard 400g block) into smaller pieces.
In a saucepan, add about 50 ml of water and bring it to a boil over heat.
As soon as the water boils, add the pieces of guava paste to the saucepan.
Cook and stir the guava paste until it reaches a smooth, homogeneous sauce/cream consistency, which is the ideal point.
Remove the guava paste sauce from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Spoon the warm or cool sauce over the reserved heavy cream base.
Serve immediately or refrigerate to firm up before consuming.
