Ingredients
- 3cup de All-purpose flour
- 1pinch de Salt
- 3tablespoon de Sugar
- 1unit de Egg
- 1tablespoon de Baking powder
- 1tablespoon de Margarine
- 1cup de Milk
- for frying de Vegetable oil
- to taste de Ground cinnamon
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt, and the three tablespoons of sugar.
Add the egg, the tablespoon of margarine, and just enough milk (approximately one cup) to form a smooth batter.
Fold in the baking powder, being careful not to overdo the amount, as this is key to the final texture.
Dica: The secret to preventing the fritters from being raw inside is to use the correct amount of leavening so they don't soak up too much oil.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Avoid letting the oil get too hot to ensure the inside of the fritters cooks through properly.
Dica: Do not let the oil get too hot, otherwise, the fritters will be raw inside.
Using a spoon, drop small portions of the batter into the hot oil to fry.
Flip the fritters while frying until they are evenly golden brown.
Remove the fried fritters from the oil and drain the excess grease.
In a separate dish, mix sugar with ground cinnamon and, after draining some of the grease, toss the still-warm fritters in the mixture.
