Traditional orange cake recipe, super fluffy and moist, made with an orange glaze, perfect to enjoy with coffee.

Ingredients
- 200ml de Orange juice
- 2cup de Sugar
- 2cup de All-purpose flour
- 4 de Eggs
- 3tablespoon de Margarine or butterSubstitui por: óleo

- 3tablespoon de Sugar (for glaze)
- 1cup de Orange juice (for glaze)
Instructions
In a blender, add the four eggs, the orange juice (200ml), the margarine (or butter), and the sugar (two cups).
Dica: The margarine/butter gives the cake a texture closer to store-bought cakes, whereas oil can make it fluffier, like a sponge.
Blend the wet ingredients well until combined.
Dica: Test your blender to ensure it can handle the process.
Add the all-purpose flour (two cups) to the blender mixture and blend gently.
Dica: If your blender isn't powerful enough for the flour, blend the liquids first, then mix the dry ingredients by hand in a separate bowl, adding the baking powder last.
Add the tablespoon of baking powder to the batter and mix quickly until uniform.
Prepare a baking pan by greasing it with cooking spray, or alternatively, with margarine and all-purpose flour.
Dica: Cooking spray makes removing the cake much easier.
Pour all the batter into the prepared pan.
Dica: Scrape the bowl well to avoid wasting any batter.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 350ºF (180ºC) for about 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the cake bakes, prepare the glaze by boiling the 3 tablespoons of sugar with one cup of orange juice in a saucepan for about 5 minutes, until the glaze thickens slightly.
Dica: Do not let the syrup thicken too much, just enough to achieve a light consistency.
After removing the cake from the oven, poke several holes all over the surface with a fork so the glaze can be absorbed.
Pour the hot glaze over the poked cake.
