Ingredients
- 1 de sweetened condensed milk
- 1 de cornstarch
- 1 de coconut milk
- 1 de heavy cream
- 1 de vanilla extract
- 1 de whole milk
- 1 de shredded coconut
- 1 de milk chocolate
- 1 de heavy cream
Instructions
In a saucepan, mix the sweetened condensed milk with the cornstarch until well combined.
Add the coconut milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, whole milk, and shredded coconut to the previous mixture.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and cook until it thickens and forms a smooth cream.
Remove from heat. Let the cream cool slightly before transferring it to a glass serving dish (like Pyrex) to prevent cracking.
Dica: Allow the cream to become lukewarm before putting it in the glass dish.
Prepare the topping: melt the milk chocolate together with the heavy cream in the microwave to form a ganache.
Dica: Microwave to prepare the ganache.
Pour the ganache over the white cream layer already in the dish.
Refrigerate the dessert until it is firm and ready to serve.
Dica: The chilling time is the longest part of the process.
