Ingredients
- 1 de Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 de Heavy cream
- 1 de Milk
- 200g de Semisweet chocolate
- 1 de Vanilla extract
- Cookies (plain wafer or tea biscuits)
- Milk (for dipping cookies)
- 200g de Semisweet chocolate
- 1box de Heavy cream (for topping)
- Nescau Ball (or similar chocolate cereal puff)
Instructions
In a saucepan, while the heat is off, combine the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, and milk.
Cook the mixture, stirring continuously, until it thickens slightly.
Dica: The cream will thicken more as it cools.
Divide the cooked cream mixture into two equal portions.
Add the semisweet chocolate to one half of the cream and mix well until all the chocolate is melted. Set aside to cool completely.
To the other half of the cream (which will be the white cream layer), incorporate the vanilla extract and set aside to cool completely.
Begin assembling the dessert by spreading a layer of the white cream in a serving dish.
Quickly dip the cookies into the milk and arrange them over the white cream layer.
Alternate layers of cookies with the chocolate cream (the dark portion) and continue alternating layers until you finish using both creams.
Refrigerate the assembled dessert for a minimum of two hours to allow it to set.
For the topping, melt 200g of semisweet chocolate in the microwave in one-minute intervals, stirring after each interval.
Mix the melted chocolate with one box of room-temperature heavy cream to create a ganache.
Incorporate a desired amount of Nescau Ball into the chocolate and heavy cream mixture.
Dica: Apply this topping to the dessert just before serving.
Spread the crunchy topping over the chilled dessert right before serving.
