Ingredients
- 1can de Sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2cup de Cocoa powder (50% cacao recommended)Substitui por: achocolatado (resultará em mais doce)
- Sprinkles (for rolling) opcional
Instructions
In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder with the sweetened condensed milk until smooth, preventing the powder from flying around when added to the blender.
Dica: Mixing beforehand prevents the cocoa powder from splashing out when you turn on the blender.
Pour the prepared mixture into the blender.
Blend the mixture on high speed for about 7 to 10 minutes, scraping down the sides with a spatula every minute, until it reaches the consistency for rolling (when the mixture doesn't easily fall off the spoon).
Dica: Every minute, pause and scrape the sides to ensure everything is incorporated uniformly.
Transfer the brigadeiro mixture to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap touching the surface of the mixture, and refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hours to firm up (if eating with a spoon, it can be consumed immediately).
Dica: Refrigeration time is essential to make the rolling process easier.
After chilling, use small spoonfuls of the mixture to shape the brigadeiros and roll them in the sprinkles.
Dica: Since blender brigadeiro is softer, use small portions and place them in small candy cups/liners.
Place the finished brigadeiros in their candy cups and serve, or keep them at room temperature (they keep well outside the refrigerator).
