Ingredients
- Water
- 2tablespoons de Sugar
- 1 de Lemon
- 1 de Large appleSubstitui por: maçã verde
- Ready-made puff pastry
- Dulce de lecheSubstitui por: geleia, brigadeiro, creme de confeiteiro
Instructions
In a bowl, mix water, two tablespoons of sugar, and the juice of one lemon, and set aside.
Cut the large apple in half, remove the core and seeds. Cut it into four larger sections, and then slice as thinly as possible.
Dica: The thinner the slices, the prettier the tart will look.
Place the thin apple slices into the water, lemon, and sugar mixture and microwave for 4 minutes to soften them.
Dica: The slices should become pliable. After removing, let them cool or rinse in cold water so you can handle them.
Cut the ready-made puff pastry into strips approximately three fingers wide.
Dica: Using store-bought pastry makes the recipe quicker and more convenient.
Spread a thin layer of dulce de leche down the center of each strip of puff pastry.
Dica: You can substitute the dulce de leche with jam, chocolate fudge (brigadeiro), or pastry cream.
Arrange the softened apple slices over the dulce de leche, lining them up end-to-end so they slightly overlap.
Dica: The ends of the slices should overlap slightly over each other.
Fold the puff pastry over the apples, securing the slices well, and roll up the strip, forming the shape of a rose.
Dica: Pinch the ends of the dough firmly at the bottom to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking.
To maintain the shape in the Air Fryer, wrap the base of the tart with a strip of aluminum foil or use a cupcake liner that is safe for the appliance.
Dica: Using aluminum foil or a cupcake liner helps maintain the rose shape.
Bake in the Air Fryer at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for 15 minutes.
Dica: If you notice the top browning before the bottom is cooked, reduce the temperature to 180°C or 160°C halfway through the cooking time.
Serve the apple rose tart, optionally accompanied by a scoop of ice cream.
