Ingredients
- 1one third of a kg de Coarse salt
- 3heaping tablespoons de Garlic powder
- 2tablespoons de Bay leaf powderSubstitui por: 5 a 6 folhas de louro
- 1heaping tablespoon de Dried rosemary
- 4tablespoons de Turmeric
- 1tablespoon de Black pepper
Instructions
If using coarse salt, weigh out the amount of 1/3 of a kilogram (approximately 333g) and place it in a suitable container for grinding.
Add 3 heaping tablespoons of garlic powder to the container with the salt.
Dica: The garlic used is pure, already processed garlic.
Add 2 tablespoons of bay leaf powder. If you prefer to use whole leaves, use five to six small leaves.
Dica: Bay leaf is great for digestion.
Incorporate 1 heaping tablespoon of dried rosemary. This ingredient is beneficial for hair and digestion.
Add 4 tablespoons of turmeric, known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Dica: Turmeric cannot be skipped, as it strengthens immunity and stimulates memory.
Add 1 tablespoon of black pepper to the mixture, remembering that it aids in the absorption of nutrients from food.
Dica: Some people avoid black pepper due to stomach issues or hemorrhoids.
Grind the mixture in a food processor or blender until you achieve a fine and homogeneous powder (similar to farofa texture).
Dica: When using a blender, start with the 'pulse' function to avoid overstraining the appliance.
After grinding, wait a moment for the steam, especially from the pepper, to dissipate before opening the appliance and handling the seasoning.
Dica: Waiting prevents irritating or suffocating vapors from being released when opening the container.
Transfer the finished seasoning (the 'golden salt') to an airtight jar for storage and consumption over the month.
Dica: This seasoning can be used on salads, beans, meats, chicken, and even milk coffee.
