Instructions
In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and the dry active yeast.
Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and add the egg, sugar, salt, oil, and room temperature water.
Dica: If using fresh yeast (9g), mix it directly into the liquid in the recipe.
Mix all ingredients until you have a completely uniform dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest and rise for at least one hour.
Divide the risen dough in half and lightly grease a skillet (preferably 9 inches/22 cm in diameter) with oil.
Place half of the dough in the greased skillet. Use the back of a spoon lightly dipped in oil to spread the dough evenly across the bottom.
Dica: Dipping the back of the spoon in oil makes the dough spreading process easier.
Brown the side of the dough touching the skillet, then flip it over.
On the pre-baked side, add tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, tomato, oregano, olives, and any other fillings you prefer (like chicken).
Dica: You can top it with whatever you like.
Cover the skillet and cook over medium heat (or low, if it's taking a long time) until the cheese melts.
Dica: The cooking can be finished in the oven if you prefer.
