Ingredients
- 2units de Prata Banana (a firm, savory variety)
- 2units de Egg
- 1cup de Wheat Flour
- q.b. de Oil
- q.b. de Granulated Sugar
- q.b. de Ground Cinnamon opcional
- q.b. de Chocolate Ganache opcional
Instructions
Boil the peeled bananas in water in a saucepan until they are very soft.
Drain the cooked bananas, transfer them to a bowl, and mash them completely with a fork.
Add one egg to the mashed banana and mix vigorously.
Gradually add the wheat flour to the mixture, stirring until incorporated to the point where you have a homogeneous batter, similar to that of a rain drop fritter.
Add the second egg to the batter and mix well until the ideal consistency is achieved.
Transfer the finished batter to a piping bag.
Heat enough oil in a skillet for deep-frying.
Form and drop portions of the batter into the hot skillet, allowing them to fry until golden brown on both sides.
Remove the fried fritters and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Roll the still-warm fritters in a dish containing granulated sugar. Optionally, add ground cinnamon to taste.
Dica: Adding cinnamon is optional and according to the preparer's taste.
Finish the fritters by drizzling them with chocolate ganache (optional).
Dica: Using the ganache is optional.
