Ingredients
- 500ml de Milk
- 200g de Sweetened condensed milk
- 5tablespoons de Cornstarch (Maizena)
- 1tablespoon de Butter
- to taste de Shredded coconut
- to taste de Caramel opcional
Instructions
Cut a 2-liter plastic soda bottle in half (or to the desired serving height) and set aside to use as a mold.
In a saucepan, add the milk and sweetened condensed milk, mixing well while the heat is still off.
Add the cornstarch to the mixture, stirring to fully incorporate it, keeping the heat off.
Add the butter and start cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly until you achieve a creamy and thick consistency.
Dica: The ideal point is when the cream thickens and just starts to pull away slightly from the bottom of the pan.
Transfer all the cooked cream into the prepared plastic bottle section, smoothing the surface.
Cover the bottle with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the cream is completely firm.
Dica: Refrigeration is essential for the dessert to set properly.
Unmold the dessert onto a serving plate.
Decorate the top with shredded coconut. Optionally, drizzle caramel sauce over it for extra flavor.
Dica: Adding caramel is optional and based on preference.
